oDay 5 - Wednesday Bahia de Los Angeles - San Ignacio ( 194 miles) To get gas in central Baja is not easy. There is no functioning gas station for 300 miles between San Felipe and Guerrero Negro. We are lucky, there is gas available in Bahia de los Angeles - however, it is a rather unusual procedure that comes witha price. $2.50 to 3.00 per gallon. Today we are heading for San Francisquito, another paradise beach - we'll have lunch in a small restaurant at the beach. It will be a gorgeous drive through cactus forests and along remote beaches. The road south of San Francisquito was recently improved to allow a smoother ride. We will pass througha valley of giant Cardon catus before we meet up with pavement in Vizcaino. From there it is only a short hop to San Ignacio, a quiet litte mission town. Hotel La Pinta is our home for the night. Mission San Ignacio next day
