Day 6 - Thursday
San Ignacio - San Borja - Bahia de los Angeles (192 miles)
San Ignacio is our southernmost point on this trip - we have to head back from here on. Today it is almost all pavement. In Rosarito we will leave the comfort of blacktop to follow a newly cut dirt road to one of the most beautiful missions of Baja - San Borja.
From mission San Borja it is a short 20 mile drive on dirt to a remote site for Indian rock art.
Most Indian sites in Baja depict animals and humans. Colorful graphic ornaments like the ones in Valle Montevideo are rare.
We'll spend the night again in Bahia de los Angeles - at Hotel Las Hamacas
